Italian Sedes flexible heating cables can be produced from different materials such as PVC, silicon or fiberglass according to the needs. The choice of materials depends on the operating temperature.
Heating cables are used in industrial and household coolers and similar applications for anti-freezing or to keep heat at a certain level. In this way, cooling systems can work more efficiently. Thanks to their flexible structure, they can be used on complex surfaces, curves and pipes.
At the beginning and end of the heating cables, there is a cold part at desired extent length to make electrical connection. During the application, a sign is placed for the cold part to be separated from the hot part. If requested, separate power production can be made in separate regions in the warm parts of the heaters. The product can also be covered with metal braid in order to provide higher durability if desired in products to be used in sharp end places.
Thanks to its hermetics structure and high quality material used, it can be used in contact with water and in humid environments. The products are produced in the dimensions, power and ready for use with connections. The dimension cannot be changed afterwarda as they can be made in constant power cables.
