Defrost Tubular Heating Elements
Italian Sedes defrost tubular heating elements are often used for melting ice on the surface of evaporators in refrigerant systems, evaporating water accumulated in trays, etc. It can be placed directly on evaporators or applied to the pipes. Heaters works instantly during the defrost cycle, allowing the ice to melt.
The heating elements wire in defrost heaters is isolated with MgO and placed inside stainless tubes with fully automatic machines. Electrical cables are applied by silicon vulcanization and fully hermetic structure is provided. The vulcanization part can be produced in the same diameter or wider than the pipe diameter according to the demand of our customers.
The tubular element's pipe can be produced with a thickness of 6,5 and 8,5 mm and shaped according to customer demand.
